Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before utilizing our platform, making charitable contributions, or participating in Kalpataru Foundation's field programs.

1Acceptance of Terms and Institutional Identity

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User", "Donor", or "Volunteer") and Kalpataru Foundation ("Trust", "we", "us", or "our"), an Indian public charitable trust registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 (Reg. No. E-2849 / LATUR) having its registered office in Nilanga, District Latur, Maharashtra – 413521.

By accessing our website (kalpatarufoundation.org), submitting donations, or registering as a volunteer or CSR partner, you unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2Charitable Purpose and Non-Commercial Nature

Kalpataru Foundation operates strictly on a non-profit, public charitable basis. All contributions, donations, sponsorship funds, and CSR grants received by the Trust are dedicated exclusively towards carrying out approved welfare objectives, including:

  • Free rural diagnostic health camps, medicine provisions, and maternal health counseling.
  • Education retention programs, student scholarships, and school kit distributions.
  • Women self-help group (SHG) vocational training and skill empowerment.
  • Clean drinking water filtration plants and environmental tree plantation drives.
  • Emergency drought, famine, and medical crisis relief in rural Maharashtra.

3Donations and Section 80G Tax Exemption

All donations made to Kalpataru Foundation are voluntary and irrevocable, except as explicitly set out in our Refund / Cancellation Policy.

Tax Deduction (Section 80G): Eligible domestic donations made in INR entitle the donor to a 50% deduction under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.

Requirement of PAN: Under Income Tax Notification No. 19/2021, donors claiming 80G benefit must provide their valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) and complete mailing address so the Trust can file Form 10BD.

Electronic Receipts: Official stamped electronic receipts will be generated and dispatched to the donor's registered email address within 24 hours.

4Intellectual Property & Child Safety Protection

All content published on this platform, including the Kalpataru Foundation emblem, logos, text, research data, graphics, photographs, and video recordings, is the intellectual property of the Trust or its licensors.

Child Safety & Beneficiary Privacy: Photographs of minor children, patients, and rural women are published with informed consent solely for factual reporting of charitable impact. Repurposing, downloading, or commercial reproduction of beneficiary photos is strictly prohibited under applicable Indian laws.

5Volunteers and Field Guidelines

Volunteers and visitors participating in on-ground activities in Nilanga or rural villages agree to conduct themselves with dignity, empathy, cultural respect, and safety. Volunteers must adhere to instructions issued by appointed Trust field coordinators and maintain the confidentiality and dignity of community members.

6Limitation of Liability

While Kalpataru Foundation exercises utmost diligence to ensure website security, accurate project updates, and seamless donation processing, the Trust shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from technical downtime, banking gateway errors, or unauthorized cyber disruptions beyond our reasonable control.

7Governing Law and Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute, grievance, or interpretation arising from these Terms or transactions with the Trust shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nilanga / Latur, Maharashtra.
